Rainforest Writers Workshop - Manuscript Semester - 8 Sessions

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Petersburg Public Library

Event Details

This session meets via ZOOM on Saturday afternoons, from 2 til 5 pm, every other week: January 9 and 23, February 6 and 20, March 6 and 20, and April 3 and 17.

This is a manuscript workshop for writers developing a longer project. During the workshop, participants submit two manuscripts for peer and facilitator critique. The submissions can be up to 15 double-spaced pages in length. That could be a short story, a chapter of a longer work, or a selection of poems. This session has homework! All members of the workshop provide written critique for each other's manuscripts. This session is a valuable opportunity for writers to meet deadlines and develop their revision craft through workshopping peer manuscripts.

Join us for this productive, small-group learning experience.

This creative writing workshop is facilitated by Orin Pierson.

Orin Pierson is trained and certified to facilitate writing workshops using the Amherst Writers and Artists Workshop Method. More information about the AWA and a schedule of upcoming workshops is available at www.rainforestwriters.org
